North Homes Children and Family Services is a private non-profit organization located in northern Minnesota. We offer a broad spectrum of community based treatment and care options. The Chief Financial Officer position is based at North Home’s main office located at 303 SE First Street, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, 55744.

Position Summary: Oversight of administrative and financial systems including accounting, information technology, human resources, and physical infrastructure. As a member of the senior management team, the Chief Financial Officer will be involved in a range of strategic planning and internal initiatives. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Chief Operating Officer, and act as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors' Finance Committee, working closely with the committee to strengthen North Home’s financial position and other items as required. The Chief Financial Officer will have overall financial management responsibility including the review and approval of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting materials and metrics for the COO and board of directors. The CFO will oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow and coordination of audit activities. Responsibilities include reconciling financial activities, and also include capturing key data and processes in order to demonstrate the relationship between North Home’s goals and resulting financial needs.

Education and Professional Experience Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting/Business is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred. A CPA is strongly preferred.
