chemical dependency

Alcohol and/or drug use can be devastating to a life, to a family and to a community. Addiction affects a person's emlotions, physical health, psychological well-being, family, social community and cultural community. At North Homes Children & Family Services, we believe each young person is an individual with unique needs and provide support to maintain sobriety.

Our program is comprised of three components:

ASSESSMENT • TREATMENT • EDUCATION

Helping Families Heal
Alcohol and/or drug use can be devastating to a life, to a family and to a community. Addiction affects a person’s emotions, physical health, psychological well being, family, social community and cultural community. At North Homes Children & Family Services, we believe each young person is an individual with unique needs and provide support to maintain sobriety. At best, chemical dependency treatment and sobriety only begins to help a family heal. Although drug or alcohol use may stop, families need help to recover from the years, and sometimes generations, of relationship damage. North Homes Children & Family Services believes in a positive and affirming process where each member of the family gets support for healing. We place emphasis on jointly building healthy emotional management, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
