Mental Health Services
North Homes, Inc. Mental Health Services provide a professional evaluation of the factors contributing to an individual’s daily functioning. This assessment may include a diagnostic assessment conducted by a mental health professional; psychological testing; forensic evaluations; parental capacity assessments and psychosexual evaluations. Assessments may assist in developing a course of treatment to most effectively achieve and strengthen individual goals.
These services are available to those enrolled in our programs and, in our Bemidji office, community members interested in enhancing and enriching their lives. Individual and family counseling with a mental health professional is available by appointment.
Group psychotherapy is available for emotional control, anger management and group milieu skills development.
North Homes, Inc. Outpatient Mental Health Program works collaboratively with complementary North Homes, Inc. programs which may include:

- 35- Day Evaluation

Mental health services are provided by our professional staff including a doctoral level licensed psychologist trained from a developmental/clinical perspective. He is able to offer assessments with a variety of projective and objective instruments. In addition, our professional staff consists of male and female licensed psychologists and licensed independent clinical social workers who collaborate with community agencies to best meet an individual’s personal goals. All of our professional staff receives ongoing training on topics pertinent to caring for youth in our programs and receive ongoing clinical supervision.
