Day Treatment Services

Day Treatment is an intensive on-site program that provides a broad range of therapeutic services designed to strengthen individual and family functioning. Daily services include 1 – hour group therapy and 2 – hour group skills training as well as phone contact with parents/caregivers. Individual and family skills training are provided based on individual needs. Youth continue to participate in school activities, like presentations, pow-wows, awards, and recess. Emergency and crisis intervention is available as needed. Day treatment services are provided by a multidisciplinary team, under the clinical supervision of a mental health professional.

How to Access:

The decision to place a child into the program depends upon age, geographic location, resident school district, current openings, IEP and other variables that may help ensure a successful Day Treatment experience. Youth must be designated as Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) by a current Diagnostic Assessment and meet Children’s Therapeutic Services and Support (CTSS) eligibility criteria for Day Treatment services.
